Uncle Johnny and Aunt Lizzy acquired the house south of where he, Herman and the others had been raised by Edward and Jane Bowen Tindall. This house is now located on the new 4 lane hwy 67. It appears that William Tindall built this home.
William was probably a brother of the John Tindall (who married Elizabeth Cropper). Uncle Johnny loved to hunt quail and always had several guns. They always went to church. He was buried at Chippiannock Cemetery. He was born on 23 November 1867 at Bowling Township, Rock Island County, Illinois. He was the son of Edward G Tindall and Jane R. Bowen. John N. ("Uncle Johnny") Tindall married Elizabeth Anne (Aunt Lizzy) Taylor on 25 June 1896 at Rock Island County, Illinois. John N. ("Uncle Johnny") Tindall died on 5 September 1945 at Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, at age 77.
