Descendant Chart for Rev. John Tindall

Charles Tindall was born circa 1679/80 at Somerset County, Maryland. He was the son of Richard Tindall and Elizabeth Vicary. Charles Tindall married (?) (?) circa 1708/9. Charles Tindall died after 1709/10 at Worcester County, Maryland. He left a will on 2 January 1761; Worcester Co, MD = his son's will.

Charles Tindall was probably a son of Richard, but no proof has been found. He is mentioned as a deponent in court records, and in property and tax records. From these, it is assumed that he married and had at least three sons, Ralph, Charles, and Samuel, who lived in the Nanticoke Hundred in 1723 and 1724. He was a "cordwainer", that is, a shoemaker.1
